While we commonly acknowledge that Jesus is God, we don’t often think of the Holy Spirit as God. He (not it) is the third person of the Trinity and the bridge between the spiritual world and the physical world.

One of the most significant differences between the Old Testament and the New Testament is the functioning of the Holy Spirit. In Old Testament times God’s presence was with men but it was outward. While this has not changed, in the New Testament He is also present in man. We can receive the Lord!

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27

John 14:15-20 – In this passage Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as “another Helper” which means there was a first Helper which was Jesus Himself…

I want to file an official complaint as a subscriber to the Holistic Wayfarer for going MIA on us. (Completely forgetting she’s been out week after week with his son while keeping the lessons going.) You need to blog again, be reminded there are good people all over the world. They want to hear from you. When you don’t blog for a while, you crawl into yourself and scowl about all the !@#! people around us. You become deeper, happier, and look out when you engage your readers. You should take a few days off school, give T a break, and just BLOG.

Mr. President, try understanding that America is the greatest society on the planet and, more than likely, ever before in the history of civilization. Tell your puppet masters to step back and think about something besides their portfolios and consider the needs of “We the People.” You are completely out of touch and, given your personal history, this becomes more and more obvious. Of course this may all be part of a grand deception, but by refusing to call a spade a spade, you are undermining the basic tenet of our American way of life and bringing down upon us the wrath and derision of the entire world. You refuse to understand the situation and permit charlatans to dictate policy.
Among other travesties, it is astonishing that you have determined a job program as a requirement for world peace, when you cannot or will not provide for “We the People.”…

I’m not an emotional person, but I about broke down this Saturday when the referee held my hand up and my name was announced as the winner of the fight. This was a very important moment for me and had been building up for some time. I’m writing about it on my music blog  because a large portion of the lyrics for my new tape “God’s Creatures” were inspired by this exact journey.

A year ago exactly I was still living in New York City and was on my daily run. While running I pondered a question that has often bothered me. I have always wondered, what would life be like had I not followed my passion of music as far as I have? I have always been fascinated with social experiments.  Be it the psychologist in me, but human behavior is intriguing. As I’ve written before, I believe we are intelligently designed. I believe our designer (God) created us to be in spiritual union with Him. However, I find it difficult in this society at times to “Silence the Other People” so that were able to hear our “Spirit Guide”.  So much bombards us in a day, from the media to our co-workers, family and friends.  Everyone seems to have an opinion on your life and the choices you make. Although, I am not implying that it is unhealthy to have positive people who are able to provide us with guidance from time to time; what I am saying is that we must be careful that “people guided” is not louder than “spirit guided”.
