38 Years Ago on This Day…
It was thirty-eight years ago on this day, that into this world I made my way (With a little help). Born into a family I did not know, only to be loved so I would not go. They gave me two brothers who beat me in sports, for which later I beat them to which neither reports. I cannot complain about my life, for which there has been more blessing than strife. I have met some wonderful people on this road, who have definitely lightened up my load. The one beautiful friend who said, “I do” amazed me even more by giving me two. These sons, who look to me as their hero, bring joy to my life when I feel like a zero. And to end this story, I want to thank the One, who saved me long ago through His Son. Without Him I would not be as strong and without Him this poem would not be as long. 🙂
Thank you to all who took part in this day of wishing me a very happy birthday.
May each and every one of you know that you are remembered.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your life.
